Tesla Motors Continues with its Hyperaggressive Spending; Buys Michigan Auto Parts Maker

For the Gigafactory project alone, Tesla is looking at spending a total of $5 billion, although the company has said previously that it plans to share the cost of the factory investments with Panasonic and other partners.

The success of the Tesla’s Model S has certainly perked up the enthusiasm of the company to make further investments to ensure its sustainable future in the motoring industry. Despite the fact that future success is not guaranteed, Tesla is confident that its spending or investments will eventually pay off handsome dividends.

Once the production version of Tesla’s Model X SUV is released around July this year, company investors would start to get a good idea how effective the hyperaggressive spending of Tesla really is.

And if the SUV proves to be the kind of vehicle that Tesla has previously hyped it to be, Tesla Motors would really be in the business for a long time.
