Tesla Model X Getting More Production Focus on the Fremont Factory than the Model S

Production of the Tesla Model X was initially scheduled to start by the end of 2013 but was later postponed by the company several times in order for Tesla Motors to meet its production targets and also to be able to prepare for the overseas launching of the Tesla Model S.

From the time that it was put on display at the CES 2015 up to its current production, Tesla has reportedly made some modifications on the Model.

And in order to test some of those new modifications and features, Tesla has put a number of units of the vehicle for test runs and also allowed drivers to snap pictures of the some of the model car’s major features, notes Learn Bonds.

The company has also worked on improving the battery life of the Tesla Model X. Accordingly, in order to keep the battery of the Model X last for as long as possible, Tesla is making the SUV as aerodynamically sound as it can. It seems like a spoiler, which can be activated at certain times only, seems to be the company’s way of achieving that goal.

Accordingly, the strong demand for the Tesla Model X is an offshoot of the American’s renewed interest in crossover SUVs as well as the strong preference of most women drivers towards the same type of vehicle. With the Tesla Model X, the company is actually eyeing an underserved but rapidly growing target market of women owners of crossover SUVs.
