Tesla Model X Coming to the Market in September, Already Pre-Ordered in Large Numbers, And More News

Tesla’s current plans are to have 12,000 more vehicles shipped during Q3 2015, and then follow up with 2,000 additional releases in the beginning of 2016. After that, they might pick up the pace if there is enough interest, but nothing official has been confirmed yet.

As for the Model 3, it’s expected to make its official appearance on the market during Q1 2016 with a presentation by Tesla in which they’re going to dig into its specifications and price.

Current rumors put the car in the £30,000 price range, with an expected release date around the end of 2017, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet and we won’t know what Elio are planning until they make their official announcement.

Hopefully the launch of the Model X goes through smoothly so that the company can then focus on developing the Model 3 and bringing out an even more accessible, mainstream model to a market that’s currently in the middle of some serious growth. Tesla can easily be at the forefront of this, they just have to maintain their current progress and keep pouring effort into their developments.
