Tekken 7 Trailer Released Online And Fans Are Excited!

Tekken 7 might be ready to hit the gaming consoles in Japan, but that does not mean that fans all over the world are not getting just as excited to see the ninth installment to the fighting game. The Tekken 7 trailer was released online this week and it looks like the game is going to have a huge following before it is even available for purchase. There are many gamers that live for games like this and then there are the gamers that play games like this by mashing buttons, but they still have just as much fun.

The trailer was uploaded by Bandai Namco Games to YouTube and by the time of this report, it already had more than 77,000 views. It starts out with two characters battling it out right in front of a volcano and for those that do not know the Tekken story, a lot of it takes place in volcano’s. There are a lot of punches thrown and then all of a sudden the trailer switches and shows a woman kneeling near a shrine.

She is saying something along the lines of having to stop Heihachi at all costs and the trailer continues showing some kind of carving in the floorboards near the woman. According to at least one online source, the woman in the trailer could be the daughter of Heihachi, but that is not that easy to confirm just from the trailer.

Tekken 7 is going to be released in limited arcade locations throughout Japan next week and it will be followed by a much wider release within the next month. Tekken 7 focuses on 1-on-1 fighting, much like the other games before it and similar to other well know games like Street Fighter. It will not be team based like the Tekken Tag Tournament series, but it will bring two, new mechanics to the game. Rage Art and Power Crush are going to be introduced in the new game.

Tekken 7

Rage Art gives each player a chance to complete several moves that cannot be block and they deal up to 80 percent damage during the time when their health bar is critical. This can be used as a chance to stay alive when it seems the end is near for your character. The Power Crush allows a player to continue attacks even when you are being hit by the competition. Even though you are hitting the other player at the same time, it is not considered a block and you will still receive damage from those hits.
