Bandai Namco released “Tekken 7” to the video game arcades early last year and promised to release the fighting video game exclusively on the PlayStation 4 in July last year. But the month has come and gone and it is already 2016 and there is still no sight of “Tekken 7” on Sony’s current generation gaming platform.
Having learned its lesson about opening its mouth too soon, the Japanese game developer decided to adopt a low profile mode about “Tekken 7.” In addition, to sort of redeem itself from the unfulfilled promise it made last year, it recently announced the coming of “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution.”
There have been recent reports citing that Bandai Namco has been conducting surveys as of late and asking gamers about their opinions of having a PC version of “Tekken 7.”
If “Tekken 7” finally makes it to the PC, it will be the first game of the franchise to do so and it will certainly provide some competition for the likes of “Street Fighter” and “Skullgirls.”
It is also possible that once Bandai Namco sees the potentials of releasing “Tekken 7” on the PC sometime down the road, it will likely do so with “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution.”
While there is nothing specific or definite yet about the possible release of “Tekken 7” on the PC, the Bandai Namco survey is more than enough to keep them really excited about the release of the game outside of the arcades.
