Fans are also clamoring for the return of fan favorite characters such as Tyler Hoechlin’s Derek Hale and Crystal Reed’s Alison Argent.
In the trailer for the upcoming season, it was revealed that Ian Bohen’s Peter Hale will make a return as well as JR Bourne’s Chris Argent.
Potential Season 7 in another network
‘Teen Wolf’ Season 6 will premiere on November 15. Davis announced that the upcoming season would be the last during the show’s panel at the San Diego ComicCon which upset many fans.
Davis says that ending the show after a total of 100 episodes was what he always envisioned for the show and it also aligns with Scott and most of his friends graduating from high school.
The real reason behind the cancellation remains unclear, but speculations say that it was canceled because the network wanted new shows that focus on other genres.
This is why several petitions have been making rounds online in the hopes of saving “Teen Wolf” from cancellation.
However, Teen Wolf News points out that it’s unlikely to get renewed on another network especially since Davis says that the decision was mutual with the everybody involved in the show.
He also dismissed rumors saying it’s impossible to shop “Teen Wolf” to another network because of its complicated rights ownership between MTV and MGM Television.
