The report said that MTV is waiting for the new show “Sweet/Vicious” which the network plans to use as a buddy to “Teen Wolf” in order for the former to gain steam from the momentum and popularity of the latter.
MTV reportedly wants their new show to draw more viewers and the best way it could do so is to make its debut in time for the premiere of Season 6 of “Teen Wolf.”
“Sweet/Vicious” is a dark one-hour comedy-drama TV series about two very unlikely friends who have decided to take justice into their own hands and doing their thing on their college campus.
The new show stars Jules, played by Elizabeth Bennett, who appears to be the perfect sorority dream girl but has a completely different agenda when the night sets in. It also features Ophelia, played by Taylor Dearden, as an everyday stoner-hacker-hellion, who got a new lease on life in college life when he learned about Jules being the masked vigilante in their campus.
Reports also have it that “Sweet/Vicious” has already completed filming for Season 1 early this month while “Teen Wolf” Season 6 production has just completed two episodes thus far. Filming will resume after the San Diego ComicCon event on July 21.
