The next few episodes will answer where he is and how the pack will get him back. Wherever he is, he will be joined by Peter Hale, who apparently was also a victim of the Ghost Riders.
Theo also returns and it looks like he’s back with vengeance. In one scene, he shoots Malia and then cuts when he’s in a jail cell where the sheriff threatens him.
The Ghost Riders will also be a focus this season and why they remove people from existence. The Wild Hunt was mentioned in previous seasons and it looks like the myth will be explored in the next few episodes.
Melissa McCall and Chris Argent are also shown discovering a victim of the Nazi werewolf with Argent saying that the victim is obviously not its first as its bite goes deep in the skull.
The season also featured new opening credits adding the Beacon Hills parents in the clip. It also features the past evils that the pack has encountered in Beacon Hills and it definitely pays homage to the show.
Fans of the show are still hoping that old characters will come back such as Derek, Isaac, Kira, and even Alison.
