“Teen Wolf” Season 6’s midseason finale was able to bring the pack of Beacon Hills in full circle. Scott and the rest of the pack were able to save Stiles and ultimately, their town from being wiped out by the Ghost Riders.
The episode kicks open with Stiles’ perspective of the events of the last episode. He can hear Lydia’s voice and just as he was looking for where it was coming from, he finds his dad and they are finally reunited.
Sheriff Stiles tells his son that he would hold off the Ghost Riders while he finds his way out of there. Stiles makes it out but he didn’t come out the tunnel. Scott and Malia claim they saw nothing, but Lydia feels that he made it through.
It turns out that Stiles made out through his jeep. Liam tells Scott that the Ghost Riders have flooded their town with train tracks and that Mr. Douglas is trying to make their town a train station.
Parrish explains that the Nazi werewolf plans to merge the world of the Ghost Riders to the real world. Parrish tells them that he will do it through the upcoming train and while they can’t really stop it, they can still divert it.
Liam remembers that Corey could be the key to stop Mr. Douglas’ plans. So he plans to go to the other side and he was able to thanks to Theo’s help. Mr. Douglas meanwhile keeps Stiles and Scott from diverting the railway.
Meanwhile, Lydia and Malia find a stunned Peter in the library. Malia uses her emotional connection with her father so he can wake up out of his trance.
A Rider almost shoots Stiles but Lydia saves him. The two finally admit their feelings for one another and share a kiss.
Meanwhile, back in the Ghost Rider world, Argent and Melissa do their best to save the Beacon Hills residents by fighting off the horse-rising villains.
Liam, Mason, and Hayden also find Corey plugged onto many cords inside the telegraph room and they realized that Mr. Douglas plans to use his abilities to merge the worlds to create his army.
As Stiles and Lydia were leaving the school, Claudia shows up and attacks them. The sheriff appears and shoots her with the help of Lydia’s banshee powers.
Scott finally makes it to the merging railway and comes to an epic face to face with Mr. Douglas.
The Nazi werewolf claims that he’s powerless without a pack, especially against his horde of riders. That’s the cue for Malia to enter along with unlikely allies in Peter and Theo.
Liam, Mason, and Hayden say that they should wait for Scott’s timing before they unplug Corey so that it will work perfectly.
The pack comes together and fight off the Ghost Riders. Scott was able to get a whip and use it to reach the lever just in time to divert the train. The three then start freeing Corey and the Ghost Riders suddenly holster their weapons.
The riders start to run away, that is until Mr. Douglas orders them to obey their leader. They then turn their heads to him, surround him, and turn him into one of them.

The ending to 6A was rushed and contrived to put a pretty little bow around some aspects of the series. As a pet owner I am horrified that Scott Mcall who has been portrayed throughout the series as struggling academically has been accepted by UC Davis to study Vet medicine. Malia ‘graduating’after ‘summer school’ is an insult to every young student who has worked hard and struggled to graduate High School, American Educational Standards and the statutory requirements of Caliifornia for the awarding of a High School Diploma!
