If you are a fan of the Teen Wolf television series, than you will be happy to know that season 5 has finally been announced with release date and other updates to go along with it. The fourth season just ended and it was not even one month later that there was speculation that a fifth season was coming along right after. The fourth season ended with some revealing information and teasers that would give you plenty of reasons to watch the next season.
Spoilers and other updated information has been posted online for the fans to check out and that included information from MTV in regards to renewing the show for a 5th season. The fifth season will be split into 2 part, which is common for television series that you see today, with 10 episodes each. One character from season 4 has been upgraded to a recurring character and that is Liam Dunbar who is played by Dylan Sprayberry.
According to reports posted online, the season 5 cast will include Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechin, Holland Roden, Shelling Hennig, Cody Saintgnue, Khylin Rhambo and Arden Cho. There will be three recurring characters that are played by JR Bourne, Linden Ashby and Ryan Kelley. One source pointed out that this list might not include all of the characters for season 5. The teaser for season 5 was during an interview with one of the characters that made a hint that “somebody is not coming back”, meaning season 5 could be missing at least one well known character. The official release date has not been announced yet.
The super natural show is expected to continue the drama that has been growing since the first season of the show. The cast gets along well on set and is excited to be coming back together for the filming of next season which starts in February according to one of the actors. The fans taking a liking to Sprayberry might have been part of the reason for his return in season 5, but that is all speculation at this point.
Those that are familiar with the show and close to those that are in the know say that the show is expected to return to MTV in June of next year. The actors are happy to reveal hints here and there as fans get a little more excited about the show coming back as well. According to at least one of the actors, the next season is going to be like “another thing we haven’t done before”.
