Season 8 of the American reality TV series “Teen Mom 2” on MTV is just about good to go despite rumors that the show has already been canceled because of a supposed trouble in the contract negotiations between the stars of the show and the network, which is also producing the series.
It has been reported last month that the show was caught in the midst of procrastinated contract negotiation between the producers and the actors of the TV series as well as some misunderstanding with the production unit.
But it seems that everything has been ironed out as central character Chelsea Houska, Leah Messer, Jenelle Evans, and Kailyn Lowry are all confirmed to return for the upcoming Season 8 of “Teen Mom 2” when it returns to MTV possibly in the spring of next year, reports Fabnewz.
Just like its predecessor show, “Teen Mom,” and the parent series before it, “16 & Pregnant,” “Teen Mom 2” follows the stories of four young women who are facing the challenges of their first years of motherhood.
Each episode interweaves the stories of four teenage girls who are navigating the bumpy terrain of adolescence, growing pains, and coming of age, all while facing the responsibility of being a young mother.
Each story offers a unique look into the wide variety of challenges young mothers can face including marriage, relationships, family support, or lack thereof, adoption, finances, rumors among the community, graduating high school, starting college, getting or losing a job, and the daunting and exciting step of moving out of the nest to create their own families.

There are also reports going around saying that Adam Lind, the former lover of Chelsea Houska, will no longer be part of Season 8 of “Teen Mom 2” because of his rudeness to the crew members as well as to the other cast members of the TV series.
However, the there are also reports saying that the decision has yet to be made whether to sack Lind for good or not because it could also be an interesting plotline for the upcoming season of “Teen Mom 2.”
Accordingly, the behavior of Lind has been causing a confrontational atmosphere in the set and is also causing drama as the TV series films its new episodes.
There are reports saying that the producers have given the actor the ultimatum to shape up and cooperate with the rest of the cast and production staff or his cheques for “Teen Mom 2” shall be halted.
But Lind, in a recent interview, said that money is not even worth it anymore on the show because he is tired of issuing the same statements every time. He also requested the show host to change the topic as he was already piqued of answering and clearing such doubts.
Happy with her second pregnancy
But Chelsea is not bothered by Lind’s recent actuation. She recently posted a photo on Instagram about the TV series but never bothered mentioning any drama with her ex. She is just happy to share on social media her second pregnancy. There are reports going around stating that her journey in the upcoming Season 8 of “Teen Mom 2” shall include her pregnancy.
Incidentally, there are also reports saying that the withholding of cheque payment for Adam Lind is not just for the actor but for the seven other central characters of “Teen Mom 2.”
Accordingly, the stars have disclosed to the media that MTV has backstabbed them in the show by not providing them the promised amount of their salaries. They are very disappointed because they know that the show is doing well in the ratings and is also making money for the network.
“Teen Mom 2” is a huge hit on MTV with millions of viewers glued to the TV series during its past seasons.
