Taylor Swift Pads Lead Over Kim Kardashian in Terms of Number of Instagram Followers!

Late in March this year, Taylor Swift dominated the iHeart Music Awards by winning the ‘Artist of the Year’ honors and also winning the ‘Song of the Year’ for her hit dance tune “Shake it Off.” She also won a third citation by bagging the ‘Best Lyrics’ for yet another hit song of hers, “Blank Space.”

It was a complete domination from the country music-turned-pop singer that many were actually saying that the iHeartRadio Music Awards should be called iHeartTaylorSwift Awards.

She also came through with one of the highlights of the awarding rites when she provided the guitar accompaniment to Madonna while the pop icon renders her new music “Rebel Heart” on stage. But instead of the energetic and upbeat version of the song, Madonna slowed it down a bit as Taylor Swift played guitar next to her.

In her acceptance speech for the ‘Artist of the Year’ award, Taylor Swift said that she appreciates the recognition from iHeartRadio Music Awards and also the fans, which she mentioned as the ones who really make her happy. She said that she felt that she has gotten closer to her fans and to people who love music every year, as she delivered her message in near tears.

It was Madonna who presented Taylor Swift with the ‘Song of the Year’ award and the pop icon introduced her as her favorite guitar player.
