The two music artists were seen leaving separately The Spotted Pig restaurant in New York City on the evening of February 17 in what appeared to be a dinner meeting, reports MSN Entertainment.

Of course, there was nothing romantic going on between the two and everyone knows that. They just had dinner together to start the ball rolling on their planned collaboration which they have earlier discussed at the backstage during the 57th Annual Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

With the planned collaboration already underway, Taylor and Kanye have likewise officially put behind them the infamous 2009 incident during the MTV Music Video Awards where Kanye interrupted the “Blank Space” singer while making her acceptance speech for the Best Female Video award.

Back then, Kanye told Taylor that he believed that Beyonce has the video of all time. His infamous stage invasion on Swift solicited laud boos from the crowd and he was almost ostracized in the music industry for his action.

Kanye subsequently issued multiple apologies to Taylor Swift and music fans for his inappropriate action during the MTV Music Video Awards.

Working together

Immediately after the Grammys, Kanye West was on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show called “On Air” where he explained his post-Grammys outburst to the media where he both criticized Beck, for winning the Album of the Year Award over Beyonce, and the Grammys itself.

He apologized for his bashing of Beck and said that he had nothing but respect for the musician. But he stood firm on his verbal assault of the Grammys saying the award-giving body was like a broken clock and only becomes right two times a day.

Also on the same radio show, Kanye confirmed that he and Taylor Swift are going to get into the studio to start a collaborative work for a new music.

He said that anybody in the music industry who is willing to tap and work together with him for a music project, he is willing to infuse the needed energy or advice on the studio, regardless of who they are, be they Beyonce, Taylor Swift, or Jay Z.

Kanye said that he is willing to be involved in all types of music, be they hip-hop, pop, alternative, country or any other type of music, for as long as the artist or artists that would be working with him is or are reciprocal, he is willing to get involved too.
