Sylvester Stallone Gives Fans a Chance to Buy Original Props from His Famous Movies!

Rocky and Rambo are among the most iconic characters in the history of cinema, and Sylvester Stallone will have to work hard if he wants to jump over the bar he himself has set. People will remember both characters very fondly for a long time, definitely long after the film series themselves have reached a conclusion. And for the true fans who want to get their hands on something more unique to remember their favorite films by, Stallone is giving them the opportunity to buy some special props from the productions.

According to Stallone’s announcement, he plans to put up various props and outfits from both film franchises for sale, starting in October. He apparently plans to donate some of the proceeds to various organizations focused on helping out veterans, and judging by the variety of items included in the offer, he should be able to send quite a lot of money to those charities.

Examples include Rambo’s iconic jacket and various pieces of Rocky’s outfit, most notably his gloves. All items are completely original as used in the films, from what we can tell, and they should be quite the valuable acquisitions for those who remember the productions fondly.

And of course, those fans will also get a brand new opportunity to see their favorite characters returning to the big screen, as Stallone is currently working on a new installment in both franchises. While the new “Rambo” is still some time away and we don’t know when it will be ready for the public, Rocky is going to be back soon in “Creed”, the newest production in that series.

He also talked about his preference for a particular type of character, the kind of “one-man army” personality that defies all odds and comes up against a massive army of opponents. He seems to believe that the current state of cinema is focused on a different concept, with flashy superheroes that always have massive support, but he is convinced that the “old school” style of action heroes still have a valid place on the screen.

In “Creed”, we’re going to see Adonis Johnson, the son of Apollo Creed (Rocky’s old arch enemy), being trained by none other than Stallone himself in his original role of Rocky. But from the sounds of it, it might be an overstatement to call this a direct sequel to the “Rocky” franchise – it looks like it’s more of a spin-off focused on a different character.

According to Stallone, the new film is meant to show the story of Michael B. Jordan’s character and will be focused on him and not so much on Rocky. He added that the film is actually quite personal and it sounds like a lot of effort has gone into giving it a deep meaning, so we have high hopes that it’s going to be the kind of thought-provoking production that has been somewhat lacking on the screen lately.

Ryan Coogler, who wrote the script and directs the film, apparently also sees it as something very personal and emotional, and some have been saying that this could be an interesting journey into his own private world. We’re definitely curious to see what kind of accent he’s going to give to the franchise, and we have high hopes that it’s going to feel like a “Rocky” film despite the claims that it’s supposed to be its own separate entity and not a part of the franchise. In the end, if it features the character of Rocky, that’s all that matters for some fans.
