‘Switched at Birth’ Season 5 Finale to Conclude the Series on a Historical Note as It Shall be the Show’s 100th Episode

The fifth and final season of the American teen family drama TV series “Switched at Birth” will air on Freeform beginning on January 24 and it would run for 10 episodes.

Showrunner Lizzy Weiss has previously stated that apart from tying all loose ends, the series finale of “Switched at Birth” shall be a feel-good ending for all the fans of the show who have been very supportive since its first season.

As if to show that “Switched at Birth” will go back to where it started, the very last scene of the TV series is actually shot in the same location as the first episode of Season 1.

There is also another important history going the way of “Switched at Birth.” It’s 10th and final episode of Season 5 and the TV series as a whole is actually the 100th episode of the show, which makes it truly historic.
