Supernatural Season 12 To Brings Back Mary Winchester, The Winchester Brothers Fight Hitler

CW decided to commemorate the special occasion of 13th September by revealing the key art for Supernatural Season 12. Supernatural fans celebrate 13th of September as the anniversary of the popular television series. The fans call it the Supernatural Day.

Apart from the key art for the upcoming season, CW also released images from the set. These photos show Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Samantha Smith, Misha Collins and Bronagh Waugh in action.

Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki play the Winchester brothers, Dean, and Sam respectively. Season 12 will bring in Mary Winchester, their mother after Dean asks for her from The Darkness. Every Supernatural viewer will recall the scene of the Winchester matriarch raised to the bedroom ceiling and burned to death.

The death of Mary Winchester was the primary reason for Dean and Sam hunting. Keeping in mind the tradition of hunting in Supernatural, Season 12 is going to show Mary in her Hunting boots. The photos from the set show Mary Winchester holding a blade and it is clear that she means business.

The previous season of Supernatural was a roller-coaster ride for Dean and Sam. They both have faced death and Hell and have come out of it alive. The finale of Season 11 showed Sam facing death. However, thanks to the photos, the fans are more than confident that Sam will once again triumph over death and return.

In Season 11 of Supernatural, Sam was captured by the Men of Letters and he was left in a tight spot when confronted by a mystery woman. She was seen brandishing a gun and ended up pulling the trigger.

Those who thought that Sam and Dean shared a rather complicated sibling relationship, will need to change their opinion when they realize what’s in store for Supernatural Season 12. EW reported that the upcoming season is going to show God’s interaction with his sister.

Season 11 saw Dean freeing Amara or The Darkness and having his mother resurrected as a gift for his action. Amara and God reconciled in the finale of Season 11 and the upcoming season will deal with their relationship in detail.

Showrunner Andrew Dabb revealed that Season 12 would focus on God and Amara’s relationship in detail. There is a lot to explore in their story. While there is a lot left to show, the majority of the action is going to happen off screen.

Viewers need to remember that God is more trusting of Dean and Sam than he is of himself. He knows that he has made mistakes. God has messed the whole situation with Amara and has caused havoc with the apocalypse. He has left the world in charge of the angels.

Supernatural Season 12

With God absent, it was Dean and Sam’s responsibility to keep the earth safe from all threats. The Winchester brothers have kept God’s people safe and hence he trusts them and is comfortable letting them be in charge in his absence.

The viewers got to see God from Season 4 of Supernatural. He had always been around but was in the background. It was around the fifth season that he started making more of an appearance on screen.

Things did happen because of him, but not because he was around. Things worked out because of Amara’s evolution and the hard work that Dean had put up. Dabb brings to attention the fact that while God is leaving the world in the hands of the trustworthy Winchester brothers, the viewers should keep in mind that he and Amara aren’t from the world of humans.

Does this hint at Season 13 of Supernatural dealing with the universe that God and Amara belong to?
