Supernatural Season 12 Promo Gives a Glimpse into New Relationships That Will Be Developed in the Coming Episodes!

It looks like “Supernatural” is going to get a bit awkward on the relationship front, judging by a recent promotional video for the show, as the characters are going to see sine interesting partnerships forming, whether they like it or not.

Sam and Dean’s mother is going to play a major role in this season, according to the preview. Not only is she going to be introduced to Castiel, but we’re also apparently going to see her tagging along on the various cases that the boys will have to tackle.

And while their expressions didn’t give away too much in the trailer, it quickly became obvious what the producers were going for: this season is going to have some rather awkward moments. This was most likely intentional in order to stir things up a little, as some fans have been complaining about the overall variety of the show lately.

It’s true that the latest seasons of “Supernatural” didn’t receive the same warm reception the earlier ones did, but many fans still haven’t lost hope in the show and are following it loyally. Whether or not season 12 will live up to their expectations remains to be seen, but the promos we’ve seen so far seem to at least imply that the season is going to try something new and different.

As for Mary and her relationship with Castiel, it sounds like the two are actually going to get quite close as the season progresses, possibly to the slight disapproval of the boys. There are apparently various features of their characters that will help them build a very strong bond, so it’s possible that Mary could become a very important character in the future.

After all, it would only make sense for the writers to integrate her tightly into the story after all we’ve seen and heard about her throughout the seasons. The story around Mary is quite interesting – and sad, too – and the showrunners have a lot of potential to do something exciting with her character.

Hopefully she isn’t going to become the annoying presence some fans of the show seem to be afraid of seeing though, as this wouldn’t be the first case something like this has happened in a TV show. Introducing the parents of major characters can sometimes end in disaster if they are presented as nagging, annoying personalities who keep getting in the way of everything.

So far, Mary has been portrayed as the opposite of that, as she’s feeling left out of the things around her and can’t quite integrate properly into her newfound life. The boys will probably have to put some effort into helping her properly get back on her feet too, so she will definitely have some touching moments with them.

And last but not least, we expect that her relationship with Castiel will be exactly what she needs in order to find her place in society again, so it’s probably not a bad thing that the two have started to bond like that.

Castiel will also get some nice development in the new season, and together with Crowley they will try to bring Lucifer down, after finally finding out where he’s hiding. It sounds like it will be an action-packed season all the way, and we can’t wait to see what else the producers are preparing that they aren’t telling us about yet.
