Season 10 cliffhanger

Meanwhile, the show ended on a cliffhanger during Season 10. Dean still tried to hunt but thinking about Mark disturbs him so much that he got another hunter killed. Dean eventually snapped out of his senses and called on to Death, played by Julian Richings, to kill him before he gets others endangered.

Death told him that he is the lock on the prison of the ancient evil called Darkness. If he dies without transferring Darkness to another person, the Darkness will be released. So instead of killing him, Death agreed to have him transported to a faraway area. They also agreed for Death to kill Sam so Sam would not try to rescue him.

Dean talked to Sam about his plans and said that he was just trying to do good. He thought that if they would both be gone, they would rid the world of the evil in them. Sam agreed to his plan and thanked him for his love for his family. This has been an emotional exchange for the two.

In the rapid turn of events, when Death was about to kill Sam, Dean turned Death’s scythe on its owner, killing Death himself.

At the same time, Rowena has agreed to remove Mark from Dean’s arms so he could be free. Dean was about to transfer Darkness to Mark when Rowena intervened. Rowena casted a spell over Mark to help him but the spell was redirected to Castiel. What Rowena did not know was that for her to be able to cast that dangerous spell, she would need to sacrifice someone very close to her.

  1. While all this is great and all, the weirdest bit of all is the “Supergirl” (sic … as if a girl could ever be super) stuff. Is someone somewhere crazy/deluded/blind enough to think Calista Flockheart can pass as ANY sort of “girl”? A bit late in the day for this casting decision, I think … as her mother, MAYBE … but only on a very, very good day. Grandmother would be MUCH more believable, though …
