Supergirl Season 2 to See Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, more Tightly Focused Storylines!

It’s kind of rare that we see such original productions on the screen recently, so it would be a shame to see “Supergirl” succumbing to an inadequate handling. On the other hand, if the producers actually take things seriously, this could be one of the major hits on TV over the next few years.

The timing in the show’s release was particularly good in the context of all the superhero movies that have been coming out recently, and “Supergirl” might not have actually worked so well if it came out at a different period. Because of this, we wouldn’t be surprised to see some tie-ins with other productions as the show progresses.

Season 2 hasn’t started filming yet, so we don’t expect to see many details about it over the next few weeks.

It’s supposed to start airing on October 10 though, so that doesn’t give the producers that much time. As filming begins and the various scenes are recorded, we expect to hear more details about the showrunners’ plans leaking out little by little. In fact, it would be wise of them to take things in their own hands as well, and give their fans something to talk about on a regular basis. It’s obvious that many people enjoy talking about “Supergirl” right now, but that hype needs some fuel to keep going, otherwise we might not see many more discussions about the show until October.
