‘Supergirl’ Season 2 Brewing Romance Between Kara and Mon-El Might be Nipped in the Bud Because the Latter is Holding a Big Secret from the Former

The Cat Grant that viewers saw in the first two episodes of “Supergirl” Season 2 shifted drastically from the work-crazed fiend seen throughout Season 1 who would stop at nothing to accomplish her goals.

Cat proved to be more than just Kara’s rude boss. She practically created Supergirl; her company getting behind Supergirl helped so much the National City come to terms with their new hero when all they believed in was Superman.

Meanwhile, the seventh episode of “Supergirl” that aired on The CW on November 21 set the stage for the battle between Kara and Cyborg Superman as well as the Martian Manhunter versus another White Martian.

The episode lived up to its promise to viewers of a one-two punch of surprises and both actually hit real close to home for the Girl of Steel.

It was finally revealed during the episode that Cyborg Superman was the real Hank Henshaw, played by David Harewood, who apparently survived his infamous scuffle with Jeremiah Danvers, played by Dean Cain.

It can be recalled that Dean Cain played the role of Man of Steel in the TV series “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” back in the early 90s.

Supergirl made the surprise discovery herself when she infiltrated Cadmus to rescue Mon-El. But instead of being able to save Mon-El, Kara ended up being close to him in captivity.
