Earlier this month, it was suggested that October would is a more realistic timeline for the release of this update. The moderator also instructed that one shouldn’t raise hype or expectations when nothing has been released yet.
However, Supercell has now made it official so you can hype and get excited all you want! Meanwhile, a Redditor Chief spAnser earlier posted that the Clash of Clans stage server has undergone an update to 8.481.x. It is the server where the game’s upcoming version goes before it’s finally released.
You can count on him because the same guy earlier confirmed the Clash Royale update which released in September. Therefore, from the looks of it, he seems like a legitimate source. Earlier Supercell announced that Friendly Wars would be coming with the next Clash of Clans update.
They also featured a live stream showing the new updates coming on 9th October.
Earlier, during a forum post, Supercell wrote that Clans would be able to provide a Friendly War Request to any other Clan that is willing to accept it. Preparation Day will begin once the duration of the war is set and Clan Challenge request sent and accepted.
Stay tuned for more updates on Clash of Clans!
