Super Smash Bros to Be Discussed in Detail during December Nintendo Direct!

And with the right push from the studio, it can probably be even more successful in the future, especially now that the idea of competitive gaming is starting to become truly mainstream, with titles like “Dota” and “League of Legends” taking firm positions on the market.

It would be interesting to see “Super Smash Bros” becoming an even more popular title than it is right now, but of course it has the limiting factor of platform availability, something that Nintendo seem to be trying to use to their advantage to boost the popularity of their own platform.

We’ll find out what the studio is planning for the game in about a month, and until then, we expect that fan speculations will become even more active and prominent online.

We wouldn’t be surprised if there was some match between those speculations and the truth in the end, but of course, with so many people actively discussing what could be done to the game, it makes sense that at some point somebody is going to randomly guess Nintendo’s plans and make a post that “predicts” something that’s coming up. Which is probably why developers are typically reluctant from discussing suggestions about their games directly with the community.
