‘Super Smash Bros 4’ Gamers Voice Reenact Palutena’s Guidance on the Game’s DLC Characters!

There is a secret conversation feature in the fighting game “Super Smash Bros 4” when it was released for the Wii U and the 3DS. The feature is called that Palutena’s Guidance, which is the same as the Snake’s Codec Conversations in “Super Smash Bros Brawl,” reports Nintendo Life.

In that game, Palutena advises Pit about the opponent that he is going up against and these conversations can only be activated on her stage known as the Palutena Temple and only once per match.

Unfortunately, Nintendo did not include these secret conversations for any of the new DLC fighters in “Super Smash Bros 4.” Each DLC fighter brings on the same generic conversations where Palutena says that he has no data on the fighter and Pit can’t believe it, even saying that the fighter might be from another dimension.

As if to make up for the shortcomings of the developer, the Zelda Universe gamer group has voice enacted via its own take the secret conversations on the latest DLC fighters of “Super Smash Bros 4” including Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta.

The Zelda Universe made the voice enactment on its YouTube channel, which critics believe is quite superb and does not feel like a fan dub at all.

The same gamer group also uploaded a video back in September for the first wave of DLC characters in “Super Smash Bros 4” including Mewtwo, Lucas, Roy, and Ryu.

Balancing Bayonetta

It has been reported in March that Patch 1.1.5 was going to be the last update to “Super Smash Bros 4” because Nintendo will start working on “Super Smash Bros 5.”

However, Nintendo pulled off a surprise this month when it released Patch 1.1.6. The latest update brought no major changes actually but was only meant to balance changes for the DLC character Bayonetta, notes the Event Hubs.

Patch 1.1.6 only affects Bayonetta but the new updates have forced gamers and enthusiasts to reset the votes on the character on the Smash Bros tiers to determine her match-ups.

Based on the archived standings of the fighters of “Super Smash Bros 4” before the tiers were reset, Bayonetta appears to be both on her best and worst match-ups in the most voted categories.

The world’s best ‘Super Smash Bros 4’ gamer

The world’s best player of the Nintendo fighting game “Super Smash Bros 4” on the Wii U has been out of commission since February and the reason why he is out is because he suffered an injury.

Not that a gamer would injure himself or herself playing a video game but Gonzalo “TSMIZeRo” Barrios apparently suffered from a middle finger injury sometime in March and fell very ill due to his weak immune system.

He had to undergo treatments from doctors including a surgery that necessitated him to rest to be able to recover well from his injury.

It was only recently that Barrios made known to the “Super Smash Bros” gaming community his situation when he posted a video on his YouTube channel detailing what happened to him during his injury and his plans.

The debacle obviously did not prevent him from being optimistic that he will be fully well again and that he plans to compete once again soon, if not sooner.

The next big “Super Smash Bros 4” major competition is happening at the CEO 2016 event late in June so “TSMIZeRo” is hoping that his finger will be fully healed by then so that he can compete and once again show to the gaming community why he is regarded as the world’s best “Super Smash Bros 4” player on Wii U.

After Patch 1.1.5 came out in March as a big surprise to gamers of “Super Smash Bros 4,” some players and critics are looking towards the direction of Nintendo for another surprise patch anytime soon, as noted in the game forum on Reddit.

According to the moderator, several gamers have been looking into the next maintenance schedule in the hope that Nintendo drops another patch on the game. The moderator said it looks unlikely.
