‘Suits’ Season 6B to See a Surprise Character Helping Donna with Harvey and Louis’ Arguments, Discloses Showrunner

The second half of Season 6 of the American legal drama TV series “Suits” is expected to premiere in January next year on USA Network. Based on the recent hint of showrunner Aaron Korsh, a surprise character shall come in to help Donna, played by Sarah Rafferty, with the upcoming arguments of Harvey, played by Gabriel Macht, and Louis, played by Rick Hoffman.

Korsh did not reveal the surprise character and who is the actor who shall be taking on the role, reports the Parent Herald.

Another important focus of “Suits” Season 6B is whether Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams, would take up on the offer of consultancy by Harvey in the firm.

One other interesting subplot of the second half of the legal drama TV series is whether Mike would finally tie the knot with Rachel, played by Meghan Markle, in the remainder of “Suits” Season 6.

Debunking the rumors of cast exodus

Aaron Korsh recently came out to debunk rumors saying that Gabriel Macht, who plays Harvey Specter, is leaving the series soon, following the departure from the show of Gina Torres, who played Jessica Pearson in the TV series.

He confirmed that all the series regulars of “Suits” will still be around for Season 7 of the hit legal drama.

Korsh also denied the speculations saying that there will be more cast members who shall be following the footsteps of Gina Torres. He explained that the actress decided to leave the show because she will be working on another TV show.

The showrunner said that there are no other cast members who have expressed his or her desire to bolt from the show.

Time for romance

Many fans of “Suits” believe that it is about time that the show features the relationship of Donna and Harvey moving forward, romantically that is.

Korsh cited that the planned romantic relationship of Donna and Harvey got a boost from the development of intimacy between the two during the first half of “Suits” Season 6, details the International Business Times of India.

As to whether it is going to mean a development in their romantic life moving forward remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, the show has gotten the right amount of impetus as it moves to its back half with the release of Mike Ross from the Danbury Penitentiary after completing his two-year jail sentence for fraud.

Now that Mike is already out as a free man, Harvey Specter, played by Gabriel Macht, offered him a consultancy position at Pearson Specter Litt but he said that he would weigh first the offer.

It was a good offer and Mike needed both the job and the salary that the law firm can offer him. However, once he accepts the offer, Mike would be thrust again to the career he really loves even though he does not have a university degree to show for it.

With that being said, speculations are rife saying that Mike would likely accept Harvey’s offer but he will do more than that. It is likely that Mike would pursue a law course to become an eligible lawyer in its truest sense.

Mike’s edge has always been his strategic ways in dealing with legal situations as well as his confidence in any court of law. Since he likes being in the legal profession, it is possible that Mike would pursue the profession by entering the real world of law school where every document is scrutinized thoroughly.
