The series creator also narrated that there was a real-life woman who had been a lawyer for a lot longer than Mike Ross, and it turns out she did not go to law school. The woman got caught after 10 years and Korsh found it really interesting how she was able to get away with the fraud longer than Mike was.
The showrunner revealed that in the wake of Mike’s arrest for conspiracy to commit fraud, he will be the center of an investigation led by a ruthless government prosecutor, Assistant US Attorney Anita Gibbs, to be played by Leslie Hope, which threatens to bring down the whole law firm.
Mike Ross had always played his cards right as a lawyer. He had always maintained that he had graduated from Harvard with a law degree. But as viewers know, Mike was just a boy genius with a great memory and a penchant for talking his way out of sticky situations.
While viewers have plenty of speculations and two-cent worth of opinion on who could the whistleblower be, Aaron Korsh says that the identity of the person who turned Mike in would really shock viewers and they will know it in the remaining six episodes of Season 5.
