The fifth season of the American legal drama TV series “Suits” just wrapped up production. The news came from series creator Aaron Korsh himself.
Venture Capital Post reports that a few days ago, Korsh along with cast members Sarrah Rafferty and Meghan Markle took to social media to share that they have officially finished filming for the show’s Season 5
Markle, who plays Rachel Zane, posted a photo on the set of “Suits” during the last day of filming. In her caption, she also mentioned that the cast is excited for Season 6.
Based on her photo, it looks like viewers will be seeing Rachel spending the finale alone in her room. Since her fiance was arrested by the feds, seeing her on her own during the finale would make sense.
Rafferty, who plays Donna Paulsen, also shared a photo on Instagram on her last few days on the set. Korsh meanwhile, took to Twitter and announced the news that they have already wrapped up the fifth season.
The legal drama has capped off the first half of its Season 5 last August. The 10th episode titled “Faith” came as a shocker as the last few minutes saw Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams, being arrested for fraud.
The big question now then is who sold Mike out? Fans are now rattling to get their answers, but it looks like they have to wait a little while as the next episode of the USA series returns on January 27.
Movie News Guide reports that the showrunner revealed that the identity of who informed the police of Mike’s secret will be unveiled on episode 11 and what’s even more interesting is that it is going to be someone fans already know.
With this, speculations of who busted the corporate lawyer have been circling the internet. Fans have stated Gina Torres’ Jessica as the person behind it.
Jessica might have been pressured to reveal Mike’s secret to save the firm. Some fans also pin the blame to Louis, played by Rick Hoffman, who always wanted Mike to be out of the firm.
Ecumenical News suggests that Harvey, played by Gabriel Macht, is not safe from the list. In past episodes of Season 5, Harvey has been vocal about his desire to speak up about the fraud instead of keeping the heavy load of secrets.
Mike’s former best friend, Trevor, played by Tom Lipinski, also has fingers raised on him regarding’s Mike’s arrest.
Realty Today reports that episode 11, titled “Blowback” will pick up where the mid-season hiatus left off. The USA Network has revealed the latest promo for the series return and it hypes the question of who ratted Ross to the police.
The network is using the cliffhanger as a guessing game to excite fans. On the show’s official website, they encourage fans to take a stab at the snitch by voting or even sharing their theories using the hashtag #WhoSoldMikeOut
The campaign is clearly effective as the show’s fans have found a way to exchange theories on what will happen in the last few episodes before Season 5 comes to a close.
Speculations that Donna and Harvey will get back together when the show returns are also rife. Cartermatt explored the possibility of another chance for the characters’ romance and undoubtedly, they are still one of the most popular onscreen couples.
The website states that until now, many fans of the former couple are still holding on for the two to find their way back towards each other’s arms.
Fans are saying that Harvey must learn to break the wall that he built around himself and express his feelings for Donna, which is still obvious if he wants to pursue a relationship with the legal secretary.
Donna, on the other hand, must make up her mind if she’s sure that Harvey is the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with although the latest news might make it more difficult for Ms. Paulsen.
