It is a re-invention of the show for Season 6 and Korsh could not have done it any better. As seen during the final moments of the Season 5 finale, the Pearson Specter Litt firm has been gutted, leaving no man standing beyond the name partners.
That alone would be enough to play a lot of storylines from come Season 6. It would be like watching the firm’s world being rebuilt brick by brick into something stronger than it ever was. The same holds true for “Suits” itself.
The show’s shake-up was conceived and executed by all of the show’s original players. Everyone was onboard from the get-go and that makes it really fascinating.
It was something quite bold and the show did it without an ounce of pretension or need to state that they are indeed doing a great job with the TV series. Now, it is almost impossible to predict with certainty what “Suits” will have in store for Season 6 next year. The good news is that filming for Season 6 will start by April so spoilers should come more or less in a few weeks or just months after.
