Apparently, Shiela has gotten Mike behind bars out of a sense of duty and it’s quite justified. However, fans believe that if Mike’s arrest is indeed justified, then all the friends who would be on his side of the legal tussle are immoral people.
Prior to episode 12, the bigger question for the storyline focusing on Mike’s arrest for fraud, is who shall be his legal counsel as he goes through the legal wringer.
It seems like the showrunner and producers have already given a hint of who would it be when it recently released a promo of the second half of Season 5 on the TV show’s official Facebook page.
The promo showed Mike being questioned by authorities but he declines to give any reply before he talks to his lawyer. It seems like it would be Harvey Specter standing as his legal counsel despite the fact that the latter has already tendered his resignation from the Pearson Specter Litt law office.
The speculations that Harvey could likely become Mike Ross’ lawyer grew more apparent when the next shot shows Donna, Harvey’s best friend, former secretary, and secret love, seemingly telling him to do all things possible to extricate Mike out of the mess that he got himself into.
