Rumors are also floating that Smith’s marksman role will have a cameo on “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” This comes after the confirmation that Batman, played by Ben Affleck, will indeed have a cameo appearance on the David Ayer flick.
The stars’ cameo appearances on DC movies is expected as the line-up of DC movies in the next few years is supposed to connect all the heroes and the villains’ lives together.
Warner Bros is kicking the DC Extended Universe this year with “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” this March, followed by “Suicide Squad” five months after. “Wonder Woman” starring Gal Gadot is set to come out in June 2017 along with “Justice League Part One” in November 2017.
“The Flash,” which is already on its second season on The CW is set to have a film version and is slated for a March 2018 release. “Aquaman” starring Jason Momoa is set to hit theaters in July 2018.
April 2019 will mark the premiere of “Shazam” starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and the second part of “Justice League” will be rolling out by June 2019.
Other DC films slated by 2020 are “Cyborg” starring Ray Fisher and is set to come out in April followed by “Green Lantern Corps” two months after.
