If the ending of the last season is to be of any indication about the future of the show though, things are definitely not looking very good for Will right now, and we expect season 2 to open up with some dramatic developments for him right off the bat.
But in the end, as we said above, the first episode of the season should most importantly contain some interesting information about Eleven and her current state. This is what fans want to see the most right now, and even if the writers originally had different plans for the plot of the new season, the smart thing to do right now would be to listen to the wishes of the community.
During the first season, the showrunners made it clear that they are deeply in touch with their fans and that they know exactly what people want to see from “Stranger Things”, which is why we expect that they’re paying attention to the discussions of their fans as well.
If they remain quiet during the next few weeks as well though, that could be indicative of potential issues on the horizon. Hopefully that won’t be the case, as the first season of “Stranger Things” started off on a positive note, and it would be a shame to see the show fall down in its ratings so quickly after arriving to the screen. Even more so if those issues could have been easily prevented with timely action.
