Apparently, “The Hunger Games” star has just signed up with Warner Bros to do a movie about the life of a war photographer Lyndsey Addario to be directed by Steven Spielberg.

The award-winning Lawrence shall play the role of the award-winning international photojournalist, reports Contact Music.

Most of her life as a photojournalist, Addario has been into many war-torn countries like Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya risking her lives most of the time just to get good pictures of the war and the struggles of people greatly affected by it.

Addario has won the MacArthur Fellowship in 2008. She was also a member of the New York Times Team that won the prestigious Pulitzer Prize in 2009 for their death-defying international coverage in Waziristan. The lady photojournalist was also jailed in Libya for several days back in 2011.

Jennifer Lawrence is currently filming the biopic movie “Joy” where she recently came out in Facebook denying that she and director David O. Russell had a shouting match in the set during the filming. She has already completed filming for “The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 2” which will hit theaters in November 2015.

Busy too

Steven Spielberg is also busy as ever. He is about to wrap up filming for the Cold War thriller starring Tom Hanks. The director is also about to start work on an adaptation of “The BFG” with Mark Rylance in the lead role.

There are no specific details yet for the movie “It’s What I Do: A Photographer’s Life of Love and War.” But initial reports indicate that it will have the storyline showing how the Afghans immensely suffered during the emergence of the Taliban regime, and also that of the Iraqi war. There is also a possibility that Congo will also be featured in the movie since Addario was previously assigned to do coverage in the African country.
