Stefan Will Come into His Own and Become a Hero in ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 7, Bares Show Producer

With Nina Dobrev all gone, the creative team of the American supernatural drama TV series “The Vampire Diaries” has to be really creative to ensure that the show will be able to sustain fan interest when it returns for its Season 7 this fall.

And so it will, assures Caroline Dries, executive producer of the show on The CW. In a recent interview, Dries disclosed that Stefan Salvatore, played by actor Paul Wesley, will come into his own in Season 7 and will take on the role of a hero.

She added that Stefan’s hero hair will grow at least three inches next season, which she thinks fans will find it cool. Dries said that while Stefan has always been a hero in past seasons of “The Vampire Diaries,” he will be more heroic next season, notes the Latin Post.

For his part, Paul Wesley feels that “The Vampire Diaries” will never be the same again without Nina Dobrev and her Elena Gilbert character in it. He said that fans will surely feel nostalgic about not being able to see Nina in the show again.

He disclosed that he still does not have an idea on what the show’s producers and creative team are planning but he is privy to the fact that they have a good plan to keep the series going and interesting for fans.
