If you have been reading the news lately you would know that Star Wars episode 7 is being produced and according to sources it looks like JJ Abrams will be the one directing the movie. Star Wars: The Force Awakens, is not the first movie that JJ Abrams had his hands on. He has been producing TV and movies for a while now through his production company “Bad Robot”.
The company has gained plenty of popularity, as people use its name in conversation to build prestige. Star Wars started back in 1977, and was the mastermind of George Lucas. The movie starred actors like Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher which have appeared in most of the remaining films. It was one of the highest grossing films in the world back in 1977 beating out Jaws and ET in 1983. Over all of the years since Star Wars has been made into thousands of products with merchandising accounting for billions of dollars worldwide.
Back in 2012 the Walt Disney Company acquired Lucasfilm for just more than $4 billion and announce that it will make three more films starting with Star Wars episode 7. JJ Abrams was given the directing job for the latest Star Wars movie and a draft of the of the script which he claimed to hate. According to sources, and rumors, JJ Abrams did not like the original script for episode seven and has decided to rewrite it with less focus on Skywalker’s children.
Noting that JJ Abrams had what it took to direct the movie he has been given the green light to direct it the way he sees fit bringing the trilogy out with a bang. JJ Abrams style is to record tons of footage and then during production have them passed off and refined to make the final movie, whereas some other Bad Robot editors will bounce back and forth between smaller pieces of film to make the final cut. Fans that have been waiting for Star Wars, episode seven have been taking to the Internet to find as much information about the new movie as possible.
