‘Star Wars: Battlefront’ Was Pieced Together Based on Competence, Passion and Availability, Says Game Developer!

In July, the game developer also revealed “Blast,” a close-quarters combat mode for “Star Wars: Battlefront.” But the fighting on “Blast” is grounded and it will feature an on-the-ground combat between Jedi and Empire forces and shall in fact, include Luke Skywalker too, in a Jedi lightsaber battle.

“Star Wars: Battlefront” will be released on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC on November 17, about a month before the official release to global theaters of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

In order to further drumbeat the heightening interest of gamers on the upcoming game, developer DICE has opened “Star Wars: Battlefront 3” for pre-ordering.

Typical with pre-order offers on most video games, there are a couple of perks for fans and players of the game including early access to the “Battle of Jakku,” two new maps on the all-new planet of Jakku. The planet Jakku was first shown in the trailer of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

“The Battle of Jakku” will enable gamers to play out the pivotal moment when the New Republic confronted key Imperial holdouts on the remote desert planet in the Outer Rim.

Those who shall pre-order the game will also be entitled to a double-sided poster that features a stormtrooper on the volcanic planet of Sullust, which was mentioned in passing during the film “Star Wars 6: The Return of the Jedi” shown way back in 1983.
