Star Wars Battlefront Beta Will Be Exclusively Online, no Single Player!

There is about a month left before the game launches, and there is a lot of anticipation among the community as players are anxiously waiting to see how their favorite title has been revived for this iteration.

If the game does live up to the (huge) expectations though, it should set some new trends for the genre and we wouldn’t be surprised if EA kept releasing more content for it over the next few months and throughout 2016.

It’s the kind of game that doesn’t need lots of sequels in order to stay relevant, and EA know that better than anyone – so they would more likely focus on releasing lots of new content in the form of DLCs in order to keep things interesting, instead of trying to work on a sequel so soon.

This launch is going to be important for the industry as a whole, because this is a famous title that players have wanted to see revived for a long time. The release of this game will have a serious impact on EA’s popularity, and the studio has been making a lot of progress in repairing their public image lately, so if “Star Wars Battlefront” is a good game, it will do wonders for making EA an even more liked company among gamers.

  1. EA has made progress in repairing their broken image? Must have been happening in a parallel universe, lol. They are still the greedy a-holes they were and it would need them many many years to loose that reputation.

Plus they don’t really change a thing. Promises are worth nothing. 100% they screwed up this game.

To get better EA would need to have a complete change of mind, which only could come with a complete change of management. And that isn’t going to happen.
