“Star Wars,” which is an original work of George Lucas in 1977, is an American epic space opera franchise centered on the film series. The story is about the conflict between the Jedi as a representation of good and their evil counterparts, Sith. The setting happened in a distant galaxy.
All the six films of “Star Wars” were all box office successes, and were either nominated or won the Academy Awards. “Star Wars” is the fifth highest-grossing film series with an overall box office revenue of $4.38 billion. The epic series, even today, has a huge fanbase with 13 million fans on its official Facebook page and 1.44 million followers on its official Twitter page.
Lucas Film, which was acquired by Walt Disney Company in 2012, is producing “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” which is set to premiere on December 18. It is the latest installment to the film series and the first film in the planned third “Star Wars” trilogy.
The “Star Wars” inspired “Star Wars: Battlefront 3” game will be released on November 17 and shall be available on Microsoft Windows, PlaysStation 4 and Xbox One.
