There were two videos released recently on the internet, featuring the Pre-Alpha gameplay footage of Free-Radical’s negated Star Wars Battlefront 3. These are the footages of the Star Wars Battlefront 3 build that got cancelled. This was written by a YouTube user in place of the description for the first video.
The user also declared that the footage was developed in 2007 and seems to have been ported from the PC. He also indicated that it was not his content and solely belonged to Disney. He remarked that no copyright issues were violated and this was done for the purpose of reviewing the build.
YouTube user ‘BananaSwag’ states that the game looked like it was fun to play. It seemed to run pretty well besides the major frame drops that can be easily noticed. It is heartbreaking for the gamers that this title got cancelled. However, presently a Star Wars Battlefront 3 title is being developed by DICE. Regarding the footages, he declared that they were both Xbox recorded gameplay.
These two videos, which came with the title Alpha in their titles, looked quite rough, and it is pretty clear that the gameplay were made right in the initial stages of the game. These trailers showcase the presence of various playable characters, drivable vehicles, the game setting and of course, the gameplay.
In these videos, Star Wars fans will easily be able to recognize characters like Luke and Anakin Skywalker, Princess Leia, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Chewbacca and Han Solo, among others. There were many different events that took place before the ultimate cancellation of Star Wars Battlefront 3. People, however, are not at all aware of the real reason why this cancellation took place.
Since DICE has taken control of the development process for Star Wars Battlefront 3, we can surely hope that the in-game battlefields and settings will improve in size and character. Along with that, we witness many destructible environmental patterns as seen in the latest Battlefield games from DICE.
However, gamers are still confused as to what classes of characters they will be able to play with this upcoming title. Certain images of Stormtroopers released on the internet have given rise to a horde of new speculations. Gamers are now wondering whether they will be able to play as one of these characters.
There are rumors that one might be able to choose from classes like Assault, Sniper or basic Support. People are not aware if DICE will completely abandon the earlier themes in the Star Wars Battlefront series. Furthermore, gamers would still be delighted if they get to start as ordinary Stormtroopers and later get to play as one of the Jedi or Sith characters.
