They were all crammed together within a 3-week window. However, it is great to hear that things are proceeding at a good pace and the one which is being worked by Jade Raymond and Amy Hennig is still on track. Visceral’s Star Wars game is expected to come out in 2018.
Jorgensen said, “We’ve talked about an action title that’s not yet announced, but we’re very excited and that’s a good chance that that will fall into fiscal 2018.” He further mentioned, “I’m not yet giving guidance for 2018, so I want to be careful that we don’t get overboard. But we’re confident that we should be able to comp a strong year this year.”
During a previous call, he mentioned that the game will have better and bigger worlds. He further added that it will make use of content from the latest movies and he didn’t have any outright at all. The first Battlefront used content from the original trilogy of Star Wars. For the next three to four years, EA has planned a Star Wars game every year.
The fact that EA is making a Battlefront sequel is not a surprise at all. 14 million copies of the first game have already been shipped and this was way ahead of the company’s expectations regarding their new Star Wars shooter.
Stay tuned for more updates on Star Wars Battlefront 2!
No single player, no space, barely any maps, and half the game was sold as DLC… no thanks EA.
