Square Enix Gives ‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Fans the Ultimate Tease

Fans of the upcoming role-playing game “Kingdom Hearts 3” were given the ultimate tease by game developer Square Enix recently when the latest trailer of the video game was released.

But instead of showing the gameplay trailer that developers normally do when they want to build gamer excitement on an upcoming game, Square Enix decided to show a trailer of fans watching the gameplay trailer shown in the big screen during an October 2014 event at Walt Disney Studios.

The latest footage is now posted on the YouTube channel of Square Enix and shows how fans loved the gameplay trailer of the upcoming role-playing game.

“Kingdom Hearts 3” is published by Disney Interactive Studios, and the October 2014 event was meant to celebrate the formal launching of the “Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix.”

Rubbing it on fans

The video shows gamers and fans in wild amazement and quipping their oohs and aahs on the gameplay trailer of “Kingdom Hearts 3,” which only made the game enthusiasts who were not able to watch the gameplay trailer last October extremely jealous, explains Product Review.

It’s the ultimate tease alright and the comments on the YouTube video reflect how much fans felt deprived of the opportunity to view the gameplay trailer first hand.

Square Enix has another upcoming winner in “Kingdom Hearts 3” indeed but the developer has yet to disclose or make an announcement with regards to its official release date.

The developer is releasing another of its much anticipated video game, “Final Fantasy XV,” which has already been getting so much attention and excitement since late last year. It is reportedly to be rolled out by Square Enix in the latter part of this year.

The question of release date

Since Square Enix has been mum on the official release date of “Final Fantasy XV,” the developer is understandably silent on when will “Kingdom Hearts 3” be unveiled to Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

The Ecumenical News reported that Square Enix is said to putting priority on “Final Fantasy XV” so it is likely that “Kingdom Hearts 3” will come after its release.

If “Final Fantasy XV” is to be released towards the end of 2015, then it follows that “Kingdom Hearts 3” would have a 2016 release date.

Kingdom Hearts 3

For added excitement, Square Enix has reportedly included new characters into “Kingdom Hearts 3” including Elsa of “Frozen” fame, Darth Vader of “Star Wars” and Iron Man of Marvel – all with the touch of Disney.

“Kingdom Hearts 3” director Tai Yusue said that he still cannot disclose any specifics with regards to the game or why the inclusion of a Star Wars character but he explained that they want variety. He added that it’s also meant to give the player or players different types of worlds where they can play in.
