‘Splatoon’ Figurines are to Be the Largest Roster of Amiibo Lines for ‘Super Smash Bros 4’

The upcoming Splatoon Amiibo action figures from Nintendo that will come out with Wave 4 of the fighting video game “Super Smash Bros 4” would feature the largest roster so far.

Nintendo has started launching the Amiibo figures in November last year to highlight the release of the “Super Smash Bros 4” on the Wii U / 3DS. There has been numerous Amiibo lines based on different Nintendo game series, with the most popular being the Super Mario Bros line, which was not surprising really, notes Attack of the Fanboy.

Many Nintendo fans are actually waiting for the Ice Climbers line of Amiibo figures from Nintendo because they are also one of the fan favorites.

Custom Ice Climbers Amiibo

In order to highlight the demands of Nintendo fans for the Ice Climbers Amiibo figures, one gamer actually put together an incredible Ice Climbers custom Amiibo, which had many of the fans and gamers praising him for a job well done.

The gamer who goes by the name of mast3r_sword in the web forum Reddit has put up the gallery of images on a website and those who have seen the Amiibo figures were one in unison in saying that they are absolutely fantastic with all the exquisite details highlighted.

Gamers and fans believe that the take on the Ice Climbers Amiibo by mast3r_sword is one of the best custom Amiibo that they have seen in a long while and many think that Nintendo should start tapping the artist on this gamer so they can make use of him.

The Ice Climbers Amiibo will not be among the Splatoon Amiibo that will be coming out soon. They were apparently cut from the latest “Super Smash Bros 4” Amiibo line due to reasons of parity of having characters in both versions and because the Ice Climbers characters are not yet possible on the 3DS.

But if Nintendo will reconsider and decides adding them to the Wii U version exclusively as DLC, it is possible that they can also be released along with Mewtwo and Lucas.

Upcoming Amiibo figurines

Nintendo will be releasing rare Amiibo figurines, namely Marth, Ike, and Meta Knight, on May 29 simultaneous with the official roll out of the Wave 4 of “Super Smash Bros 4.”

Nintendo’s “Super Smash Bros” on Wii U/3DS was released on November 21, 2014. It has been such a smashing success that the Japanese gaming company is now seriously looking at a historic financial rebound from a slump it suffered two to three years ago.
