‘Spider-Man’ Reboot Must Focus on a Coming of Age Story of the Teenage Superhero to Differentiate it from Past ‘Spider-Man’ Movies!

Since he can no longer contain his excitement over the “Spider-Man” reboot movie, Kevin Feige has disclosed that the official title of the movie may turn out to be “The Spectacular Spider-Man.”

That shall make it different from the first trilogy starring Tobey Maguire which only had “Spider-Man” for the title. The second series featuring Andrew Garfield and consisting of two movies had the title “The Amazing Spider-Man.”

Feige also revealed that “The Spectacular Spider-Man” is already part of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which begins with “Captain America: Civil War.”

The Marvel boss also debunked notions that Tom Holland’s movie will seem small scale compared with the other Phase 3 movies of the MCU which includes the third Captain America film and the “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”

He said that the “Spider-Man” reboot movie is going to be a big one like any “Spider-Man” film in the past because it is Spider-Man and his popularity is really high compared to the other Marvel Avenger superheroes, at least in the comics.

The title of “The Spectacular Spider-Man” is no longer new as Marvel Studios already had the same animated TV series back in 2008 which also featured a teenage Peter Parker.
