Joe Russo also added that he wanted to make Peter Parker a truly contemporary character who will have a more grounded and realistic living environment.
He said that they wanted to relate the movie to the reality about a character growing up with his aunt in New York, a single-income family, and thus, they intend to give a very logical, realistic, and naturalistic approach to the character.
Anthony Russo also added that the MCU itself helped inform the choices they made for the “Spider-Man” reboot movie and they made it a little more hard-core contemporary.
There have been rumors that the “Spider-Man” reboot will feature Peter Parker as a first-year high school student with the subsequent sequels also taking place over one year of his high school career.
The previous “Spider-Man” films did not spend much time in high school so it would be very interesting to see how the reboot takes shape.
Tom Holland has already finished filming his part in “Captain America: Civil War” which the young British actor described as a brilliant and huge movie.
He also added that the movie made him 10 times more excited to start on “Spider-Man” reboot, which will be happening in the next few weeks.
