‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Producers Cast Michael Chernus as the Tinkerer

Last June, executives say that Sony and Marvel are committed to making future Spider-Man films. Holland has already signed up for three films, not including “Captain America: Civil War.”

However, there are now reports saying that the film is already in danger of having the same fate as “Spider-Man 3.” Reports say that the film has already cast a lot of villains which therefore creates more tension, but loses its focus.

Some cite Maguire’s Spider-Man as having to battle with three villains, the new Green Goblin, the Sandman, and Venom in the 2007 film will definitely be hard for the viewers to set focus on the movie.

The film also had to take the time to build up these villains. Given that this will be a new reboot, some fans say that it would be better if the film focused on Peter primarily and how he will deal with at least one villain at a time.

Sony nor Marvel Studios has not yet responded to these rumors although the cast promised that there will be a lot of changes with the new “Spider-Man” movie.

The studio is also certain that because of the positive feedback they had with Spider-Man’s cameo in “Captain America: Civil War,” his solo film will also receive positive reviews.
