‘Spectre’ will be a James Bond-Driven Movie All Throughout, Says Director Sam Mendes!

The 24th James Bond movie officially titled “Spectre” will be different from the past 007 flicks says Director Sam Mendes.

Mendes is helming his second consecutive Bond movie following the very successful “Skyfall” shown in 2013.

The director says that “Spectre” is different because it is a James Bond-driven movie from the start to the finish.

In a recent interview, Sam Mendes said that the upcoming Bond movie is special because of two different reasons. His first reason is the story which he finds very good and captivating.

His second reason is the fact that the film will be entirely driven by Bond. Mendes said that 007 will be on a mission from the get-go of the movie. So the plot will basically revolve on whether or not James Bond will pursue the life he has chosen. Or whether he wants to continue serving Her Majesty’s Secret Service, notes Youth Health.

Mendes said that for viewers and audiences to find out the choice that James Bond, to be played by British actor Daniel Craig for the fourth time, will make, they really have to watch the movie for themselves and discover the answer. The director obviously knows how to play the movie’s marketing and promotions to the hilt.

Just a few days ago, the production has released the first official set photos from “Spectre” which shows former WWE wrestler Dave Bautista and new James Bond girl Lea Seydoux.

Bautista will play the henchman Hinx in the film and he is shown in one of the official photos brandishing a gun at an anonymous movie character on ice while a dead body already lays at his feet.

There is no official film photo of Seydoux as she is just shown posing in the ice-covered slopes which means that she will have a scene in the same location too with James Bond and Hinx.

The three stars are also shown in a couple of pictures too in between takes during the filming on ice.

Sinister organization

Spectre has been a sinister organization in past James Bond movies which was then being headed by the diabolical Ernst Blofeld. While initial reports about the movie hinted that Blofeld’s character will be rebooted in “Spectre,” it seems that only his organization will stage a comeback and not his character.

The movie will start when James Bond receives a cryptic message from his past where he shall discover Spectre. Agent 007 will work his way to layers of deceit to unmask the organization even as his boss M fights it out with political forces in the British government to keep the MI6 alive.
