Sony Xperia Z6 to Jump on the Bandwagon of Force Touch-Enabled Smartphones, More Details

Reports also have it that Sony Xperia Z6 may use a generous non-removable 4,000 mAH battery to ensure better backup and standby time for users. It shall also be capable of supporting Quick Charge 3.0 fast-charging capability which would allow the smartphone to charge up to 85% of its full battery power in just 35 minutes.

As expected, the Sony Xperia Z6 will come out of the markets next year already with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow onboard for its mobile operating system.

The upcoming flagship smartphone shall reportedly have a fingerprint sensor on its rear side just like the upcoming Google Nexus and a home button like the Samsung Galaxy S6. It shall also have front-facing speakers for better sound quality.

Given that the trend has picked up among modern-day devices, Sony will also be using the USB Type-C port for Xperia Z6 where the Quick Charge 3.0 and data transfer can be used.

Just like most devices of today, the Sony Xperia Z6 shall come out waterproof and dustproof as well.

The upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 to be held in Barcelona, Spain will be held late in February next year instead of its customary first week of March schedule.

Reports have it that Sony will likely launch the Xperia Z6 during the event, but the official rollout of the device will happen late in March or April next year. As for the price, rumors have it that its base model shall come with a retail price from $700 to $800.
