Sony Xperia XZ Launched Worldwide Including US, Germany, Korea, And The Netherlands!

Sony declared the release of its long and much-awaited piece Xperia XZ along with Xperia X Compact at the IFA event a few days ago in September.  The Xperia X Compact went on sale a few weeks following its announcement. The Xperia XZ, on the other hand, made its presence felt in the international market only recently.

It first made its appearance last week, in Taiwan, making it the first country to have the device. Presently, the device has gone on to be sold in other countries through the authorized online store of Sony.

Not just Taiwan, Sony Xperia XZ has also been made available for purchase in the Netherlands. The flagship device will be obtainable at all the big retailers, presumably priced at €699. Although, Netherland’s Sony Mobile’s online store, is referring interested buyers to carrier websites, where one can sign up a contract deal.

Currently, Sony’s stores across Europe, have the smartphone available only in a pre-order condition. Hence, it is advisable to ask around your local retailers. Reportedly, there is this one store in Germany, which claims it will ship the Sony Xperia XZ, smartphone within two to three days.

Meanwhile, in the United States, the smartphone is in stock at Best Buy. At least that is how the one business day shipping can be made sense of right now. Price in the US reportedly ranges around $699.

It is also available through Amazon as well, but the catch being that buyers would have to wait till the 12th of October before they get their hands on it.

Other countries are not so fortunate, though. The UK, for instance, is one such country, where the company store lists the device as ‘out of stock’. The option of pre-ordering the smartphone is the only mode available for getting the new Sony Xperia XZ.

It appears that subsequently after the launch, the device has caused so big a stir within the tech fans community, that the first stocks of this superior device have already been booked by a massive number of consumers.

The Amazon UK is at the moment, accepting pre-orders with a shipping date fixed for October 18.

According to a report by GSMArena, the online stores in the United Kingdom are offering headphones valued at $191 with Sony Xperia XZ pre-order varieties worth $701. The promotional offer will most probably be withdrawn as soon as the smartphone goes on sale.

While, according to a further update, the online retail forum of the website in Italy is displaying only the headphones and not the handset. The German version of Sony’s Online hub has fixed the headphone’s price at $223 while the handset at $781. The device is selling in Finland at the same price as it is in Germany.
