Sony PlayStation 4 Pro Set To Launch In November, Will Support PlayStation VR Hardware, Priced Between $400- $600

This is great news for the players who want to swap the 1TB drive, included in the console, with a larger one. Since Sony PlayStation 4 Pro will support SATA 3.0 technology, the drive will be faster. For the uninitiated, the speed jump would increase from 3Gb/s to 6Gb/s.

Apart from the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro, Sony is also working towards launching the PlayStation VR. Since the launch of the original PlayStation in 1995, Sony has continued to launch hardware that changed the market trends.

John Koller, the VP of marketing for PlayStation has been behind six of the eight hardware launches that the company has initiated over the past years.

Koller said that each of PlayStation’s platform launches stretched the gaming community to try something unique and the PlayStation VR is no different. The company realized that the gaming community is ready for a high-level VR experience, and hence they decided to release the VR hardware.

According to Venture Beat, while the PlayStation 4 Pro enhances the VR experience, the console isn’t required to enjoy the PlayStation VR experience. PS4 has been incorporating games that support VR content. The PlayStation 4 Pro experience along with the VR hardware will only go ahead to make the experience a more exciting one.

PlayStation 4 Pro might be priced at $400 when it launches on November 10th. However, the price might shoot up to even $600.
