Sony and Motorola Devices Will Soon Receive Android 7.0 Nougat, New Details Revealed For Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge!

The South Korean tech giant is running Nougat on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and currently leading the competition with their results on Geekbench. The scores from Geekbench help users compare their device performance without getting lost in the technical specifications. The system works by comparing the scores.

Obviously, higher scores mean better performance. The SM-G935F variant of Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge received a score of 2016 on their single-core test, followed by 5587 on the multi-core. Comparing them with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, they received 3450 scores in their single-core performance, followed by 5630 for their multi-core performance.

It sounds great for Samsung Galaxy S7 owners, who will be eager to upgrade but it doesn’t mean that Nougat will be launching soon. If you take a look at Samsung’s trend, the company always waited until the next year to introduce the new version of Google’s latest operating system.

In other news, Sony will release Android Nougat 7.0 on the Xperia X Performance and Xperia XZ, sometime in October. The next range of Sony devices to receive this update will be Xperia X and Xperia X Compact.

Stay tuned for more updates on Android Nougat 7.0!
