Sleepy Hollow has been on the air for two and a half seasons as of right now and the show has been gaining in the ratings all along the way. The American supernaturl drama has been on the Fox network since 2013 and is about to start back up after a mid-season pause. The third season was renewed by Fox back in March 18th of last year. That renewal came with an eighteen episode order and now fans are looking forward to the start of episode nine.
The idea behind the show is that in 1781, Ichabod Crane kills the headless horseman at the exact same time the horseman kills him. Fast forward more than two hundred years and we are in present time when Crane rises from the dead to meet up with the Headless Horseman once again. The horseman was summoned back from the dead by someone that is unknown in the show at this time. As you can imagine, this creates plenty of drama.
The reason that Crane shows back up has to do with the fact that his and the horseman’s blood was mixed upon death many years ago. The show covers many characters, with most of them becoming main characters by the end of the first season. Now we are about to see the start of the second half of season three and there are spoilers that are bringing more drama to the show for fans to feed on.
The finale of the first half of season three included Abbie saving Jenny from draining her power into the shard of Anubis. Since the shard was damaged, there is a fear that it will explode. With that being said, it appears that Joe and Jenny have a serious part in the second half of season three. Starting in episode nine, there is an arc that fans will notice and catch onto right away. Their relationship will hit some milestones during that episode and is likely to be one fans look forward to seeing. Ichabod is also finding himself wondering if he can go to another world to save a person, again.
Fans that have been paying attention are going to realize this is not much of a surprise since the couple actually kissed in an episode a few months ago. That episode was called, “The Art of War” and the kiss came when Jenny unknowingly absorbed the shard into her body. There is little information as to whether Abbie and Ichabod are getting together, but at least one of the couples seems to be moving in the right direction. Another character ready to show up is Ezra and even though he has been gone for a long time, his story has never been heard. That is another story line that is set for the second half of season three.
