Even if “Sister Wives” does end here though, at least the show had a good run and explored a more unique concept in a bold way. It was surrounded by controversy from start to finish, but hardly anyone expected anything different.
And the controversy keeps going, too, but this doesn’t actually have to be a bad thing for the potential continuation of the show. It’s possible that the current situation could be of help for the ratings of season 8 in the long run, we never know.
It’s obvious that fans of “Sister Wives” would appreciate a little more communication from the producers right now though, and it would be better if we saw some actual information about the show’s planned future, rather than the cryptic photos that have been posted all over their Facebook lately.
On the other hand, we can also understand why the producers might be inclined to keep their heads low at the moment. If there are more major problems going on behind the scenes, they would definitely want to avoid bringing unnecessary attention to the situation before they’ve had a chance to tackle it.
We expect to hear something from that side by the end of the year in any case, so fans who’re still hopeful to get a new season should stay tuned and keep their eyes open around the show’s social media accounts.
